Frengl-finnish update from the Winter Wonderland

Hyvät hyssykät täällä vaan voikii olla kylymä, mutta tunnelma on sitäkin lämpösämpi! Ihanaa nähdä pitkästä aikaa perhettä, ystäviä, tuttua maisemaa, tuttuja makuja ja niin edespäin, eipä ole siis kotitunteen voittanutta. Mutta, suustaan ja siitä mitä sieltä päästä ulos onkin pidettävä parempi huoli, nimittäin, kaikki täällä ymmärtävätkin mitä sanot suomeksi, aijai..


It's so cold, but so beautiful in here! And the atmosphere, that's really warm. I love to be back at home!

Ok, this really looks like I live in the countryside, but why should I be lying..

Vietettiin pikkujoulut Simon parhaimpien tyttärien kanssa, oli niin ihanaa että nää ihanat pääsi paikalle! <3 Punateema, hyvät ruuat ja tämä seura kyllä teki tehtävänsä, yli puoli päivää tässä seurassa saa kyllä hymyn vääntymään naamalle niin ettei se hevillä lähde, ja se mitä muistuu mieleen niin se on kyllä siellä pinttyneesti! Ai että! Ja kiitos emännälle vielä ihan hirmuisesti!

The evening with my dearest and nearest was full of joy, laughter and loads of tasty stuff to eat! Mmmmmmhhh... And the theme was to wear something red, I had my bracelet, some of the others had even more of it!

The evening was really great! I love you guys!

Käytiin myö leffassakkii. Pikkasen oli eri kaliiberia tuo Kemin leffateatteri kuin noi Parriisin lentokenttämäiset Cinecitet.. Meinas iha jännittää, niin leffan, Rare Exportsin, kuin myös teatterinkii vuoksi!

So going to a cinema in Kemi is a bit ore exciting than in the big world. Even the theater is a bit spooky, see, you might be the one and only living person in there...

J'ai été tendu!

You decide to take a little walk. It's -23 degrees outside, about 18 o'clock in the evening. So it's dark as night, but the darkness, that's actually a lie. The night, it's full of light. The Milky Way and it's stars are shining bright and the Aurora Borealis makes their dance in the sky. And actually, you don't even need the light because you know the route as you might know your own pockets. The air is so cold that your breath freeze when it gets out of your mouth. And you literally think that not only your nose is going to drop off, but also your cheeks and forehead. And the moment outside is so beautiful that you decide to lay in the snow in the middle of nowhere just to watch the beautiful view as the "fox fires" keep on lighting the sky. And at the moment you feel your bottom has almost frozen, you make an angel to the snow to be a surprise to the next person walking by. Could it get any better ?

The darkness that we can see here is just amazing, I love it, and I'm gonna miss it.

Being at home and just talking with people made me so happy. And not the least were my mothers Christmas pastries making me happy! 

Mmmmm, and some great amounts of chocolate is a key to happiness too...
